CARL NIELSEM MUSEUM THE WINNER OF MICHELETTI AWARDS 2024!

Congratulations to the fantastic Carl Nielsen Museum team for winning the most prestigious Luigi Micheletti Award- the European prize for innovative museums, administered by the European Museum Academy. According to the judges: “This is a new kind of museum devoted to a composer. It achieves its stated goal of using the universal language of music as a tool to educate the visitor, with no intimidating text and no repetition. Each cabinet is similar in design and material, but all differ in their role of making the experience demanding but playful and interesting to the point of making you lose the sense of time. A truly pioneering museum and a worthy winner of the 2024 Luigi Micheletti Award.” We are so proud to have contributed to this special project- it has been a privilege working with a team of visionary curators, academics, designers, artists and craftsmen to bring a radical concept to life.

SHENZHEN NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

A huge thank you to London based exhibition designers Event that have trusted Natalia with leading the 3D design of one of the eight galleries of the Shenzhen Natural History Museum, within the iconic building designed by 3XN architects. Running on a tight schedule to deliver world class design for a most ambitious project, Natalia has been part of an international team of distinguished exhibition designers and creatives that included amongst others Atelier Bruckner, EBT and Silkroad. With each gallery being of a 1000m2 footprint on average and a demanding list of exhibit deliverables, it has been an epic task and we are proud to have been part of it! Image Copyright: 3XN Press

We are delighted to share that the Carl Nielsen Museum has been shortlisted for the Best use of Digital (International) category of the Museum and Heritage Awards. We are keeping our fingers crossed for a win, as these are probably the most prestigious awards in the UK museums stage. Yet, as a representative of the Carl Nielsen Museum said: “For us the most important thing is the many happy and satisfied guests we have in the Carl Nielsen Museum, so in this respect we win 1 st Prize every day”.
